Dominique Scali, Kevin Schleif
Dominique Nicole Scali of South Beach and
Kevin Schleif of Westerleigh have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is
the daughter of Yasmen and Dominick Scali. The prospective bridegroom is the son
of Karen Schleif of Westerleigh and Raymond Schleif of Willowbrook.
Miss Scali is a graduate of Michael J. Petrides High School, Sunnyside, and
earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and special education from the
College of Mount Saint Vincent, the Bronx, where she was named to Psi Chi and
Kappa Delta Pi honor societies. She is pursuing a master of arts degree in
early-childhood education and special education from Wagner College and is a
special-education teacher with Children’s Home Intervention Program,
Eltingville.
Mr. Schleif is a graduate of St. Peter’s Boys High School, New Brighton, and
earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Manhattan
College, the Bronx. He is a member of the American Society of Heating,
Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers and is a mechanical, electrical and
plumbing superintendent with Tishman Construction Corporation of New York,
Manhattan.
A September wedding is being planned.
