Subject: Notice for Kevin William Manning
John, I found this in the Fort Myers FL News- Press. I don’t know the man but he seems to have been born the year before I graduated from Manhattan yet he has a great grandchild and my oldest grandkids are in their first year of college. Gene Fagan

[JR: Yes, I can understand the confusion. It seems like the obits always leave question. Best we can do is pass it along and hope that everyone understands we're doing just that -- passing notes in class. Thanks for a great find.]

Eugene, I can indeed see your wonder. I shall explain; I am 60 years old. Kevin, 58. My daughter , Michelle, was born when I was 19, her son, Justin, was born when she was 16!! He is now 24 and little JJ is 16 months. Kev & I met when I was 40 and he took my children in as his own. We married when I was 45 & Kev was 43. Does that clear it up? Not exactly conventional, but a very close and loving family. Oh, by the way, that little Michelle put herself back in school and graduated from Lehigh University in Pa. when she was 34 yrs old with highest honors…you just never know about these kids!!! Jeanine is a Nationally Board Certified Elementary School school teacher in Pinellas County, Fl & Jeff works for Kev!
Would love to hear back from you to share stories with Kevin’s 86 yr old mother and Kevin’s employer & dear friend, Mike Bette, who is also a Manhattan Alumnus of significant stature.
Thanks for your interst. You’ve made me smile. T. Manning
