Guest Speaker: Ted McNamara ’62

The event will feature a presentation by Ambassador Thomas E. McNamara ’62. McNamara has extensive diplomatic experience in political-military affairs, terrorism, narcotics, and the regions of Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Europe and Russia. President George W. Bush recently appointed him to program manager for the information sharing environment. He reports directly to the director of national intelligence and is responsible for implementing basic reforms in the management of information throughout our government. His talk will focus on the evolution of terrorism and American counter-terrorism policy over the past 30 years as well as his involvement in various diplomatic affairs throughout his career.
