JEMAIL: McEneney, Mike (MC1953) remembers Ross Pollack

April 4, 2008 · Comments Off

Dear John,

Today’s NY Times (4/3/08) at page A25 has an Obituary for Dr. Ross Pollack. Dr. Pollack was one of the most caring, understanding men I have met over the years. He was able to do so much for those Manhattan students who needed some help, whether due to a long tern disability, or a short term problem. He made himself available at all times, even providing students with his home phone number. When ever I called him about a problem that a student was having, that I had learned about, he never failed to step in and usually was able to see to it that an appropriate accommodation was made.

He will be missed and it will be very difficult to fill his shoes.

May He Rest In Peace,

Mike
