QBE the Americas Announces Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK, June 26 /PRNewswire/ — QBE today announced that Chris Fish has
been appointed chief financial officer, QBE the Americas. He has been with QBE
since 1995 and has held several key positions within the company’s finance
organization.

Fish moves into this senior management position from his role as chief
financial officer and executive vice president of QBE Specialty and QBE
Reinsurance, two business units of QBE the Americas. In his former role, Fish
was responsible for overseeing five functional departments including financial
services, tax, actuarial, internal audit and risk, and strategic planning. He
has more than twenty years of experience within the financial services
industry, holding management positions at American International Group (AIG)
and Reinsurance Corporation of New York before joining QBE.

chief operating officer, QBE Insurance Group. “Chris’ industry experience and

Fish graduated magna cum laude from Manhattan College with a Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting and Computer Information Systems. He is a member of
numerous professional organizations including, Society of Insurance Financial
Management (SIFM), Reinsurance Association of America (RAA), Risk & Insurance
Management Society (RIMS) and Insurance and Accounting Systems Association
(IASA).
