Reddick - Robert P. Schiffer, M.D., 62, of Reddick, FL, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the home he shared with his loving wife and family. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Manhattan College, and received his medical degree from Georgetown University. He is survived by his wife and partner, Donna Rae Schiffer, his two daughters Bridgette Claire Schiffer and Dorothy Delia Schiffer, his son Robert Brian Schiffer, daughter-in-law Amanda Manning Schiffer, and three grandchildren Madison Lynn Bergmann, Brianna Elizabeth Bergmann, and Robert Brian Schiffer, II. Robert cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and shared every facet of their lives. “Poppy” leaves an impression on their lives that they will never forget. He loved to travel, spend time with his loving wife, children, and grandchildren, and of course his love for the New York Giants. A funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2008, at Blessed Trinity Church. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES, Ocala.
