Subject: Jerry Breen’s online store

To one and all: This is to announce the opening of my new online store at www.cafepress.com/newbreen . You can now buy t-shirts featuring some of my classic political cartoons from yesterday and today! The “Clintstones”, Nixon (my all-time favorite), 2 of my most popular Obama cartoons, McCain and “Mahmoud the Madman” Ahmadinejad are featured.

The prices range from just $15.99 to $18.99. (That’s less than TV’s “magic price”!) Of course, you can also get there from the home page of my website, at www.newbreen.com or www.jerrybreen.com . Check it out!

Let me know what you think. We’ll be offering more designs in the future. If all goes well, it will be upgraded over time. Thanks again
for your interest.

Sincerely,
Jerry Breen

[JR: Jerry sent this to me. Not to the list. IMHO some Jaspers would want to own an original "Breen"! Hence my decision to pass it along.]

The trip by the U.S. team originally was in doubt because of a Middle East crisis with the threat of civil war in Lebanon. But the U.S. Department of State granted permission for coaches George Eastment of Manhattan College, Larry Snyder of Ohio State and Payton Jordan of Stanford to accompany about 75 American athletes to Moscow.

Meanwhile a $74.5 million program announced in December 2006 to build cottages for Katrina survivors in Louisiana to replace the travel trailers hasn’t produced a single cottage. The program has been mired in red tape and a bureaucratic game of hot potato as the program got passed from one state agency to another, the Associated Press reported.

Ahh, yes, “social justice”, as manifest by our benign beloved and munificent Federal gooferment. Yup, good thing we don’t have the “evil corporations” involved. And we know that chraities couldn’t possibly do a better job! And, leave teh poor people alone to find their own solutions and run their own lives. Why that’s just cruel!

Hey here’s an idea. Let’s print more money and give each “katrina victim” a cash hadout. Oh, we did that. OK, this time, we’ll give them “gift cards”. Oh we did that. Lap dances and booze ring a bell.
