Subject: new Jerry Breen cartoon
John: Here’s another political cartoon, this one on the subject of Obama and ACORN. This is another cartoon that’s heavy on text. Sometimes I just feel like I have to educate people on the things that they should already know if they read the news, which of course they don’t. Thanks again. Check out this and other cartoons on my website, www.newbreen.com and my blog, http://jerrybreen.blogspot.com . Yours in Jasper, Jerry Breen ’71

[...] October 26, 2008 · No Comments “‘From Tiny ACORN. Mighty Obama Grew.’ ACORN Election Fraud. ACORN, the controversial voter registration and housing advocacy group is partially government-funded and “non-partisan.” This “non-partisan” group has endorsed Obama for election. Obama’s campaign paid ACORN $800,000 for working on his primary campaign. 19 ACORN workers in 5 states have been convicted of election fraud. There are ongoing investigations in at least 7 states. ACORN’s founder was recently ousted after the discovery that his brother had embezzled $1 million from ACORN.” Image courtesy of Jerry Breen at http://www.newbreen.com via http://jasperjottings-daily.com/2008/10/22/cartoon-obama-and-acorn-by-breen-jerry-mc1971/. I object to the use of the word “educate” in the explanation of excessive use of text in a “cartoon” — when the more accurate and truthful word would have been “propagandize.” But if school isn’t out yet, there ought to be a matching cartoon with the other candidate, as the link below outlines.
