Jim Gahagan: Global Industry Executive, Financial Services, for Sterling Commerce, a subsidiary of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T). In this role, Gahagan develops sales and marketing strategies to better serve the financial services markets, based on his 25+ years of managerial and consulting experience in financial and information systems management. Gahagan began his financial services career in 1980 at Merrill Lynch. Over the next 12 years, he held a series of progressively more important positions at the company, culminating in his position as vice president of the Financial Systems Group. Subsequently, he moved to Goldman Sachs & Co, where he was responsible for global application development and technology support in his role as vice president, Corporate Services. Gahagan holds a bachelor of science in accounting and business administration from Manhattan College and a master of business administration in information systems and corporate finance from Pace University.
