Hooman Majd Visits MC

On Thursday, Feb. 19th, the New York Times Best Selling Author, Hooman Majd came to speak at Manhattan College. Over one hundred students attended his lecture in which he discussed his book The Ayatollah Begs to Differ: The Paradox of Modern Iran. Majd, who lives in New York City, is the son of an Iranian diplomat, and grandson of an eminent Ayatollah, which he explained is a respected figure of religion.

New York Community Air Survey

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Queens College of the City University of New York have announced their plan to conduct a New York City Community Air Survey, commonly referred to as NYCCAS. This survey will allow them to determine how the air quality varies in different parts of New York City.
