Joseph Felock Jr.

Colonel Joseph William Felock, Jr., 76, of Midwest City, OK, passed away March 23, 2009 at his home. Joe was born January 25, 1933 in Troy, NY to Joseph W. Felock, Sr. and Anna Hylwa. He grew up with three sisters in Watervliet, NY. He received his Bachelor’s in Accounting at Manhattan College and attained his Master’s in Management from the University of Arkansas. Joseph’s highly decorated career in the U.S. Air Force transported him all over the U.S. and further abroad. He served as a combat pilot in Vietnam and later as commander of an air traffic control operation. Following his military retirement, Joe was employed as an accountant by the city/county health department. He was an avid Oklahoma State Cowboy’s fan. Most importantly, Joseph’s family and grandchildren were the light of his life. He leaves behind 3 children, Joseph W. Felock, III, Debra Guthrie and Cindy Olsen grandchildren, Matt- hew, Gregory, Jennifer, McKenna, Christopher and Sarah 2 great-grandchildren, Kiara and Monroe his sisters, Bernie, Gerry and Donna and many dear friends including, George Hargett and Ivory Rose, his special caregiver. Services for Colonel Joseph William Felock, Jr. will be 10:00 am, Thursday, March 26, 2009 at T.A.F.B. Chapel.
