Donata (Dina) Castiglione, 87, died Sunday (March 22, 2009) at Namesta Alsheimer’s Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was born and raised in New York City where she met her husband, Lorenzo, who was attending Manhattan College. They were married in 1941 and lived in Hornell from 1947-2004. Her life centered around the love, care and support of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Lorenzo; two daughters, Donna (Patrick) Kopach and Carol (Joseph) Rallo of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sons, Lawrence (Colleen) of Wharton, N.J., and John (Marsha) of Corning; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will take place in Colorado Springs, Colo. Donations may be directed in her name to Namesta Alsheimer’s Center, 2 Penrose Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80906.
