First off, this is old news from a couple of years ago. I agree that the vandalism is wrong but I think people forget that this sort of thing happens all over the country at colleges. Granted, most schools aren’t built near residential areas, but MC is not the only rowdy school. Think of all the big (state) schools who are always in trouble for fraternity pranks and the like. I’m not saying what these kids did was right, but home owners in the area should have expected possible issues when they moved in. Perhaps it their home was cheaper to rent or buy simply because it was near a school. Personally, I think the school has way worse problems such as not properly disciplining underage drinking, especially from scholarship athletes. Trust me, that code is violated WAY more often than vandalism.
