Thank you so much for your kind words. My father loved Manhattan College and always spoke of his excellent Christian Brothers education. I just graduated La Salle University in Philadelphia and I now understand what he meant when he spoke of the brothers. God Bless you and the rest of the La Sallian community. John Baptiste de La Salle, pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts forever!

Arthur was St Augustine’s class of 1964, and Manhattan 1968, and will be missed.

It has been a shock to all who knew Arthur from St. Jerome Elementary school in Brooklyn–Class of 1960 –to hear of his death. We have been trying to contact members of our grammar school class and did get briefly in touch with Arthur and his wife Liz ( also a classmate from St. Jerome ). Arthur lived across the street from my family on Newkirk Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. I am sure the bonds from St. Augustine ( Arthur and I graduated from there together ) and Manhattan College are as strong as the bonds we shared in our most formative years in elementary school….he was a gentle man and we are all saddened by his death. Prayers for all the family and for him…….
