CURRY – John Patrick, of Mt. Vernon formerly of The Bronx, on May 27, 2009. Beloved husband of Elizabeth. Loving father of Kathleen (Paul) Barba and Christine (John) Tuthill and loving step-grandfather of Marissa Barba. Dear brother of Thomas Curry and Patricia Spillane. Brother-in-law to Celeste Curry and Joe Spillane cherished uncle and Godfather. He was a proud member of the 7th Regiment National Guard. He was a loyal and Proud Graduate of St. John’s Kingsbridge, Mahattan Prep and Manhattan College. He retired after 27 years as an accountant and office manager from Glencore Limited, Stamford, CT. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, between the hours of 5 to 8pm Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial St. Ursula’s Church, Mt Vernon on Monday June 1 at 11am.
