Durelle Brown Classic: The benefit game will be held Aug. 14 at Kingswood-Oxford School in West Hartford. Among those scheduled to participate are Brown, who played at Kingswood, Manhattan College and in several countries overseas, Jared Jordan (Marist), Edmund Saunders (UConn), Tyson Wheeler (Rhode Island) and Jeff Viggiano (UMass). The game begins at 7 p.m. in Hewitt Gymnasium. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for students 18 and under. All proceeds benefit the American School for the Deaf.
