This years Macy parade made it clear that they fujlly imtend to eliminate any referenced to Christrmas. Santa,the children’s symbol of Christmas did not mention Christmas but rather greeted the crowd with “Happy Thanksgiving.” Last year Santa said nothing. What’s coming next is probably Happy Holiday.
Please urge the troops to contact Macys and express their displeasure by shopping elsewhere.

[JR: Jim, I didn't see the end of the parade. I always watch a little and go back to the happier times when life was simple. Mom and I went to the parade. Wish I could roll back the tape and do it again. How much smarter I'd be. Did anyone see the end of the parade and can confirm what Santa did or didn't say? If they are doing that "Happy Hoy Days" stuff, it deserves a reaction.]

I saw the end of the parade and I can confirm that Santa did not mention Christmas.
He said Happy Thanksgiving!
