John Weber
John Weber was named Executive Vice President of FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. in April 2006. He is responsible for coordinating all sales, marketing, service and support operations for the company’s U.S. medical business. In addition, he assists the president in the development and implementation of corporate strategies.
Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice President he served as Senior Vice President, Operations for nearly nine years. He joined Fujifilm as Vice President and CFO just prior to the company’s acquisition of Pyne X-ray in 1986, and played a pivotal role in the acquisition. During his tenure with the company he was a leading member of the executive committee that transformed Fujifilm from its position as a film distributor, to its current status as a leading digital imaging and network solutions company. He was also responsible for building Fujifilm’s internal infrastructure and support functions–including service initiatives—to meet the demands of substantial growth related to new business.
Prior to joining Fujifilm, Mr. Weber served nine years at Cadbury Schweppes Limited. He was named Vice President and CFO of the Schweppes Limited American Region in 1977, later appointed Vice President and Corporate Controller of Cadbury Schweppes Limited, and finally promoted to Vice President and CFO of Peter Paul Cadbury in 1983. Early in his career Mr. Weber was an audit field manager at Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, specializing in foreign-owned companies.
Mr. Weber graduated magna cum laude from Manhattan College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He also attended executive training at the London School of Business. He is a certified public accountant in the state of New York and a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and New York State Society of CPAs. Mr. Weber is also a member of several industry boards.

I believe that John is a member of the Class of 1971. I am not sure, but he may be related to our old Professor the late Bill Weber who also resided in Irvington.
