Staco Energy Products announces new power factor program manager

DAYTON, OH — Staco Energy Products Company has announced the hiring of Rich Zuccaro as the company’s new power factor program manager, according to a press release.
According to the release, Zuccaro, who works out of an office in Upstate New York, will be responsible for communicating with customers and product representatives to identify cost-saving opportunities involved with power factor penalties and electric billing tariff rates.
Staco Vice-president of Sales and Marketing Dave Kendall said: “Rich is an excellent addition to the Staco sales and marketing team. His familiarity with utility operations and his in-depth knowledge of power factor correction problems and solutions, combined with an intense customer focus make him ideal for this new position.”
Zuccaro has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Manhattan College, a master’s degree in business administration from the Rutgers Graduate School of Business and an extensive background in the power factor/capacitor industry, the release stated.
Zuccaro, who comes to Staco from General Electric, will also work with utilities to determine companies that have incentives available to curb energy demand, the release added.
