CONGERS: Anthony Mancino of Congers will serve as the new general manager of Consolidated Edison’s Bronx Gas Operations. Mancino will be responsible for 140 employees and a budget of more than $44 million.
Bronx Gas Operations maintains and upgrades more than 810 miles of gas mains and 87,000 gas service lines that serve more than 1.4 million residents in the borough. Employees also respond to gas odor reports and emergency calls.
Mancino joined Con Edison in 1991 and has held various positions including engineering supervisor, associate engineer, senior engineer and section manager.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Manhattan College.
