The weeklong celebration will feature a series of Air Force exhibitions and displays across the city that will include a flyover of jets at Citi Field on Air Force Night, August 26.
“Our borough is happy to host this hometown celebration of the Air Force and acknowledges its continuing role in defending our freedoms and ideals,” Marshall said.
Air Force Week will also provide outreach and community relations programs that will include visits and talks by Air Force officials, flight demonstrations and displays that will take a detailed look at the men and women serving on the front lines. Events aboard the Intrepid Air and Space Museum and in Times Square are planned for the week.

The Northeast Ceremonial Band performed many favorites, including “The Colonel Bogey March” and “The Air Force Song”. The Manhattan College Air Force ROTC Color Guard presented the flag.
