ENDNOTE: The ability to shift jobs and remain a productive member of ant society

Biologists Discover That Some Ants Eventually Retire

*** begin quote ***

Researchers believe that this ability to shift jobs and remain a productive member of ant society has led to a longer lifespan among them compared to those insects that live alone. For Schodfield, however, the results of this study extend beyond to world of entomology. If ants can recognize the clear importance of their elders in society, he suggests, perhaps we humans should appreciate our oldest and wisest citizens a bit more as well — for the golden years may be more aptly named than we often stop to realize.

*** end quote ***

When will properly value people?

I wrote something about it in my novel: “Children will no longer waste the first 25 years of their lives. Adults will no longer be tossed on the rubbish pile for the last 50 years of their life.” — CHURCH 10●19●62 Volume 2 Page 279

If ants can evolve to recognize the value of young and old, us, supposedly “smart” people, should be able to do the same.

I think the trick is freedom and liberty! Allow people the freedom to think for themselves as opposed to having Gooferment, politicians, and bureaucrats telling us what to do!
