[JR: So young. Spouse with children. On a personal note, I too have just lost a spouse. I can only imagine what the children, husband, and family are going through. I know that platitudes, mumbled condolences, and well-meaning phrases are little comfort. Wish I had the “silver bullet” to offer, I don’t. I’m told that “time heals all wounds”, but at the 82 day mark, the loss is as it was yesterday. I recently heard a C&W song that seemed to sum it up: “the living goes on after the thrill is gone”. My prayers and good thoughts are with them. I have nothing to offer. But, it stunning to be “called home” so very young. Guess the message is Carpe Diem and “you really don’t know the day”.
