Mount Sports Medicine Program In Action at Manhattan College!

On Friday, January 11, students in the Mount’s vanguard Sports Medicine program, just launched in Sept. 2012, attended a seminar and demonstration of techniques for splints and other injury treatments at Manhattan College. The lecture was given by Doug Straley, Assistant Athletic Director For Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer at Manhattan College.
The Mount’s program has 44 students participating and is off to a running start! Dr. Anthony Maddalo ’72, doctor for the NY Rangers and Doug Straley are chief advisors to the program
