Well, going back a bit…. The F train from Brooklyn to West 4th, and then the A train to the 168th switchover was quite the norm. Whole trip took maybe ??75 minutes?? at a good time, maybe two hours or more at 3am on a Sunday night.

Those late nights at 168th were amazing. I was almost always the ONLY person sitting around at that station at those hours. Does it still look the same? Antique lighting fixtures and amazingly huge white tile arched ceiling?

Is the elevator still a dilapidated iron monstrosity?

John, if you didn’t use it you missed out on something neat. That ride from 59th to 125th was truly amazing! You felt like you were flying as one station after another just zoomed past!
