STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The engagement of Meaghan Marie Smith and Anthony Joseph DeMartino has been announced by their parents, Jeannie and Robert Smith of New Springville and Maryann and David DeMartino of Eltingville.

Miss Smith is a graduate of Moore Catholic High School, Graniteville, and earned a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing from Pace University, Manhattan. She is an operations specialist with the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi in Jersey City, N.J.

Mr. DeMartino is a graduate of Moore Catholic High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Manhattan College, the Bronx, and a master of science degree in business management from the College of Staten Island. He is a consultant with Deloitte in Manhattan.

The couple is planning a September 2014 wedding.

Kathy and James McNamara of Matawan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelli, to John Vincent Faviano, son of Marianita and James Faviano of Poughkeepsie, NY.

Kelli is a graduate of Matawan Regional High School. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Connecticut, and a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Mercy College. Kelli is currently employed as a Speech Therapist for the Monroe Township School District.

John Vincent is a graduate of Arlington High School, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Manhattan College. He is currently employed as an Operations Director at MRM Worldwide.

A May 2013 wedding is planned.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – St. Joseph R.C. Church, Rosebank, was the setting March 23 for the marriage of South Beach residents, Tina Marie Torricelli and Michael Anthony Catalano. The Rev. Michael Martine officiated at the afternoon ceremony, which was followed by a reception in Seasons, Washington Township, N.J.

The bride, a daughter of Christine and Victor Torricelli of Rosebank, was given in marriage by her father. She chose her sister and cousin, Victoria Torricelli and Gina Siciliano, respectively, as the maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Mary Albero, Demi Durrant, Samantha Albero, Dana Catalano, Tara Catalano and Gina Salovic. The flower girl was Jenna Reonegro.

The bridegroom is the son of Rosemarie and Gary Catalano of Fort Wadsworth.

Vincent Torricelli, the bride’s brother, was the best man. The ushers were Mathew Catalano, Richard Catalano, Arthur Albero, Matthew Durrant, Jason Schmiedel and James Femia. The ringbearer was Aidan Salovic.

Mrs. Catalano is a graduate of Curtis High School. She received an associate’s degree in nursing from the College of Staten Island, and is a registered nurse.

Mr. Catalano is a graduate of Michael J. Petrides School, Sunnyside, and earned a bachelor of science degree, magna cum laude, in business management from Manhattan College, the Bronx.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica.
