we have the best entertainment in NYC. While I was at Manhattan college I was an MC and DJ on weekends. Little did I know that I would have an entertainment business and nothing to do with biomechanics. I still love my time at Manhattan college.

We create wonderful memories. That’s it. It’s that simple.

How do we do it? First, we listen. Just tell us how you envision your event. Share all the details. If you need ideas, we’re happy to help. We’ve been in business a long time and have lots of experience and resources for creating fun, fabulous, spectacular mitzvahs, weddings, corporate events, sweet sixteens and more.

Second, we work hard to ensure that every detail is attended to with the care and attention you deserve. Our goal is to make sure that you don’t have to worry. Not before, not during, not after. You get to fully enjoy the festivities without a care in the world.

We’re creative and passionate about what we do. That’s how events – that create wonderful memories – come to life.

JNEWS: Stanton, Kathleen [MC1995] Director, Technical + Regulatory Affairs @ The American Cleaning Institute

Kathleen Stanton Named ACI Director, Technical & Regulatory Affairs

June 15, 2011 02:46 PM Eastern Daylight Time

WASHINGTON–(EON: Enhanced Online News)–The American Cleaning Institute® (ACI, formerly The Soap and Detergent Association) has promoted Kathleen Stanton to Director, Technical & Regulatory Affairs. She previously served as Associate Director of Scientific Affairs at ACI (www.cleaninginstitute.org), the trade association for the U.S. cleaning products industry.

“Kathy Stanton is a valuable member of ACI’s scientific team, especially when it comes to her analysis of legislation, government regulations, and criteria on green chemistry and cleaning,” said Richard Sedlak, ACI’s Senior Vice President of Technical & International Affairs.

“It is more important than ever to bring a science-based focus to public policy and rule making, particularly in the area of so-called ‘green’ products, which nowadays is fraught with arbitrary and non-scientific criteria. Kathy’s work helps ensure that the cleaning products industry can continue to innovate and bring beneficial products to market.”

Stanton joined ACI (then SDA) in 2002. Her duties include research and analysis to support ACI’s technical, scientific, and oleochemical programs. Besides her work on green chemistry, she manages global consortia on high production volume chemicals, manages research on the environmental effects of major cleaning product ingredients, and works closely with the oleochemical industry to promote innovation in new uses of oleochemicals.

“Kathy Stanton is a valuable member of ACI’s scientific team, especially when it comes to her analysis of legislation, government regulations, and criteria on green chemistry and cleaning”

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Religious Studies from Manhattan College (NY) and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Applied Ecology/Conservation, with honors from Frostburg State University (MD). Her research thesis was on combined effects of environmental temperatures and (dietary) fatty acid chain length on growth of fish. Prior to joining ACI, she worked four and a half years at the United States Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences for the Department of Surgery, where she was a Research Associate.

The American Cleaning Institute® (ACI – formerly The Soap and Detergent Association) is the Home of the U.S. Cleaning Products Industry® and represents the $30 billion U.S. cleaning products market. ACI members include the formulators of soaps, detergents, and general cleaning products used in household, commercial, industrial and institutional settings; companies that supply ingredients and finished packaging for these products; and oleochemical producers. ACI (www.cleaninginstitute.org) and its members are dedicated to improving health and the quality of life through sustainable cleaning products and practices.
