Good Morning All,

From Maria Khury, unfortunately I received this a little late but we may still honor the man and pray for the repose of his soul. Thank you Maria for sharing this information. Please keep in your prayers Fellow Jasper (Staff) Professor Guillermo Romagosa. Professor Romagosa taught Theology at Manhattan College for many years. Among his many accomplishments, It has been said that he is credited with starting the Deacon Programs in New York City. A Mass was held Friday evening at Santa Catalina de Genova Church on W. 153rd St., Manhattan. Today, Saturday, another Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Patrick’s. Please keep Professor Guillermo and his Family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved one. We pray that they find peace in the sure knowledge that he is in God’s Eternal Embrace in the Kingdom of Heaven. Thank you. God Bless.

I just read this web site trying to find out more news regarding my cousin Guillermo Romagosa (Willy, as we called him). I was very happy that Ms. Maria Khoury was such a good friend of him. He mentioned her name to me many times when I used to speak with him on the phone, almost every day and, as I understand, the last words he said was talking to me while in the hospital. My name is Raquel Romagosa and I would like to know more about his life besides the things he told me and my sister every day until his passing. My e-mail is {Privacy Invoked} and I live in California. The last time I saw him was on my way home from Europe that we met in New York and was planning to meet with him this year but had to postpone the trip. so I was so sorry that I could not see him for the last time. He was a great man, very religious and very educated, we lost one of the best.
