Crawford – James J., 84,  of Malverne on August 27, 2016. United States Army Veteran.  Past Grand Knight – St. Mary’s-Maris Stella Knights Of Columbus Council #2228, Past Faithful Navigator Cardinal Mercier 4th degree Assembly, Former District Deputy, long-time member Ancient Order of Hibernians. Mr. Crawford was pre-deceased by his parents James (Jay) and Nora (nee Frawley) and his brother John. Beloved husband of Eileen. Loving father of Maurya Keating (James), Eileen (Lee) Crawford-McElroy (Brendan), James (Jay) and his wife Rachel, and Clare Crawford (David Lagstein). Cherished grandfather of Christine, Theresa, Robert, Kieran, Tara, Shauna, Carlos, Joseph, Eva, and Fiona. Also survived by his sister Mary Gallacher.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Manhattan College.
