PRAYERSREQUESTED: Colon, Philip J. (MC1962) prays for Scott

2017-Jan-01

Good Morning All,

I ask for your prayers for our Son Scott who was in a Snow Vehicle accident while on a short holiday trip in Upstate N. Y. It was a serious accident due to unseen black ice and he was fortunate to have just a badly broken left wrist. They were not able to perform necessary surgery but have cast him. Scott is in great pain that comes and goes but he and Melissa are dealing with it. They will be home today but Melissa has already begun to reach out to the Medical Community for a Surgeon. It seems they will have to break and reset which is no fun. Thank you for your prayers.

Good Evening All,

Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers. Scott was admitted tonight at Huntington Hospital and is scheduled for surgery Monday Morning at 8:00 AM. Surgery expected to last 1.5 to 2 Hrs. Melissa decided to stay with him so all is well. The MDs have been super as the surgeon was a recommendation. We pray for no complications. God Bless.

Good Afternoon All,

Peggy, Scott, Melissa and I thank you for your prayers and kind words. We so appreciate your friendship.

Scott is home, well medicated, no complaints and recovering. His surgery was longer than expected, 3 plus hours due to what the Surgeon felt needed to be done once in and he feels confident all went well. A witness to the accident said that Scott’s quick thinking probably saved his life and we are all so thankful. His injury could have been much worse. The medical staff at Huntington hospital were top drawer. Thank you once again for your prayers. God Bless.
