NEW YORK (AP) — Parishioners at a New York City chapel that sheltered 9/11 first responders are praying for a miracle to save it from falling victim itself to the prosperity of its resurgent neighborhood.
St. Joseph’s Chapel is living on archdiocese subsidies after the rent for the relatively small space tripled in 2014 to $264,000 a year.

I used to go there when I worked on Wall Street.
Tell me that there are no rich Catholics left on Wall Street that will save this chapel?
Like the little Greek Orthodox church that stood for so long.
It appears that the institutional Church is doomed. Like the dodo, passenger pigeon, and the Conservative Democrat.
This is just another example of the changing times on the road to hell.
