HORTON—Brian M., 59, of Great Neck, Long Island, passed away at home on October 25, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.
Brian had a distinguished career at Consolidated Edison Company from 1984 to 2017, rising to Vice President of System and Transmission Operations and Vice President of Brooklyn and Queens Electric Operations.
He proudly served in the United States Navy and as a volunteer firefighter in the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department, Company No. 4.
An inspiring mentor, highly respected for mastery in his field, Brian embodied grace under pressure, receiving Con Edison’s prestigious “Living Our Values” award.
A graduate of Manhattan College with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Brian earned an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Brian, a man of grace, integrity and courage, was loved by all who had the honor to know him. Gone much too soon but forever in our hearts, Brian is survived by his loving wife, Terry, daughter Alexandra, mother Genevieve Munnelly and sister Laura (Gary) Fraraccio.
