Good Evening All,

Tom McCarthy shares the sad news and asks for our prayers for the repose of the soul of Fellow Jasper James S. “Tex” Farrell ’66 BBA. Tex is a Family Friend of Tom McCarthy’s Family and Tom’s Dad, back in the day, worked at Tex’s Restaurant/Pub, Doubleday’s up from the College on Broadway, where many a Jasper frequented. Tex was a familiar face at Jasper Basketball games. Tex had been in failing health over the last two years or so and fought the good fight.Tom has shared Tex’s Obituary which includes  Mass of the Resurrection at the Church of the Immaculate Conception information In Irvington, N.Y. on Friday at 11:00 AM.We pray for Tex, his Wife Susan, their Son, Kevin and Family and Friends as they mourn the loss of their loved one and good Friend. Tex will not be forgotten by the many who knew him. Thank you. Thank you Tom. God Bless.

James “Tex” Farrell

Irvington – James “Tex” Farrell, formerly of the Bronx and Irvington passed away on December 19, 2017. Tex was the co-owner of the Lodge, Doubleday’s Riverdale, The Ferry Inn and former co-owner of Doubleday’s in Dobbs Ferry. He is survived by his wife Susan and son Kevin.

Mass of the Resurrection Friday 11am Immaculate Conception Church, Irvington. Visiting Thursday 3-8pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry.
