Lou Calvelli received a call sharing the sad news of the passing of Fellow Jasper, William J. Cuggy ’71 BA. Bill, formerly of Garden City, N.Y. and upon his passing of The Villages, Florida, was called home on January 17, 2018. We pray for the repose of his soul, for his Wife, Judith and their Family as the Family mourn the loss of their loved one. Thank you. God Bless.

CUGGY – William J. formerly of Garden City S., passed away on January 17, 2018 in The Villages, Fl.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Judy, his sons Brennan and Daniel Cuggy (Katherine) and his beloved granddaughter Keira. He is also survived by his sister Eileen McKernan (Tom) and brother Jack Cuggy (Andrea) and will be sorely missed by a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, in-laws and a lifetime of wonderful friends.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Anne (Hayden) Cuggy, and his brother James Cuggy.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am on March 24th, at the Chapel of DeLaSalle at Manhattan College, Smith Auditorium, 4513 Manhattan College Parkway, Riverdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, con-tributions can be made in Bill’s memory to the Cornerstone Hospice (cshospice.org), The American Cancer Fund (cancer.org) or Covenant House (covenanthouse.org).
