With the deepest sympathy for his wife Valerie and his entire family, I regretfully tell you that Mike McHugh suddenly passed away yesterday. Mike was a most dedicated husband and father but always found time to attend the many Moles meetings and functions especially Moles functions that encouraged engineering students to join our industry, such as the annual Students Day Tour. He was a man with numerous friends at the Moles, all of whom will miss his unique approach to business and outgoing personal style.
The following arrangements have been made at:
Flynn Memorial Home
1652 Central Park Avenue
Monday, 8/6 – Wake Services 2-4pm; 7-9pm
Tuesday, 8/7 – Wake Services 2-4pm; 7-9pm
Wednesday, 8/8 – Memorial Service, 10:30am followed immediately with a luncheon for all, location to be determined. The Flynn Memorial Home’s website will be updated with this information shortly.

Dear Fellow Committee Members,
Many of you may have already heard that we lost Mike McHugh yesterday.
For those who hadn’t and in remembrance of his long and excellent leadership of this committee, I felt that noting his passion for Manhattan College, the Construction Industry Golf Outing and, most importantly, his towering personality, smile, and friendship to many of us was imperative.
I will truly miss the man and his lovingly awkward smile when I would insist on hugging him because I only can up to his shoulder.
I welcome thoughts on how we should honor Mike whenever you have them.
