1945 – 2018 

Ossining – James A. Drohan, Sr., “Banker” of Ossining passed away Friday, October 19, 2018. Jim was born in Manhattan on June 30, 1945 and was the son of Frank and Pauline (Cahill) Drohan. He was 73. Banker was a graduate of Manhattan College in 1968, where he received his BBA.

He was a member of the Ossining Fire Dept. for 48 years. He was Secretary for Westchester Co. VFA; He was Secretary of Southern NY VFA. He is the President and one of the original members of the Fairchester Hose Haulers since the late 60’s. He was an ex-captain and former President of Holla Hose Co. He was a very proud school crossing guard in Roosevelt Square for many years. He was a 9/11 survivor.

Jim is survived by his children James Jr. (Cathy), Frank (Kristina), Erin (Michael) Perry, his dear friend and ex-wife Kathleen; his sister Laura Galletto; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours with be held Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 at Dorsey. Funeral Mass Monday 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Ossining. Interment at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
