#13 According to the United Nations Population Fund, 40 percent of all births in the U.S. now happen outside of marriage. But if you go back to 1970, that figure was sitting at just 10 percent.

Sadly, a shocking stat.  I don’t know what to say about it.  I am shocked!

Donna Seybold: The 1986 Collingswood alumna was a three-sport star, but despite being a standout tennis and softball player, it’s her work on the hardwood that stands out as she led the Panthers to their lone state championship as a senior. She averaged 20 points a game that season and finished with more than 1,000 for her career. Seybold earned a scholarship to Manhattan College and she helped the program to the NCAA Tournament twice. She’s one of two Jaspers to play on two MAAC championship teams. She was named Most Valuable Player of the 1990 MAAC Tournament. She was also the Metropolitan Player of the Year that season. She became the fifth 1,000-point scorer in program history and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in 2003. She’s also part of the MAAC Honor Roll. After her playing days she got into coaching. She led Loyola of Maryland and Indiana State during her 10-year career.
