Good Evening All,
I ask for your prayers for the following Intensions.
My Sister-in-law, Joann, has been in our prayers and we need to raise the volume. She has been diagnosed with a good sized Tumor in one of her lungs and a very small one in her other lung. The large tumor is Cancer. This week, Tuesday or Thursday, the Surgeon will be performing a procedure to Shrink the tumor in preparation to excise it. There are other steps to be taken and the very small tumor will be continued to be looked at. The Surgeon and her regular Doctor are optimistic. Joann is a fighter with a positive attitude and strong of Faith. Please raise the volume for her and her Family
I have heard from my Friend in Boise, Idaho with an update on her Niece, Lisa Hatfield, for whom we have been praying. The MDs this week set out to harvest Lisa’s Stem Cells for a later transplant. They hoped to harvest 10,000 to 12,000 Cells but were able to harvest over 15,000 which is so much better. Lisa’s Remission rate looks promising. As Lisa says, ” Thank you so much, Prayer works.” This is the gift
Of Hope in a very difficult time for her and her Family. Please keep the prayers coming for this courageous and strong of Faith young woman.
I ask for your prayers for Jen McCoy, a Friend of our Niece, Kerry. In May of 2016, we had Jen, a single Mom, two small children, on our prayer list as she was diagnosed with Leukemia. The Doctors got to work, agressively treating Jen. Jen’s Leukemia was arrested and she was gjven a clean bill of health. Jen let us know on Friday that her Leukemia has returned. She asks for our prayers once again as the Doctors begin the process once again. Please raise the volume for Jen.
I ask for your continued prayers for my Wife Peggy. The last procedure on her eye moved 75% of the displaced Descemet Membrane back in place. It seems to have had some positive resultant but her vision is still not as good as before her Cataract removal brought this problem to the surface. She has received a new prescription for Sun Glasses. She feels there is improvement but to me it seems to be stop gap but as the specialists at Johns Hopkins suggested she go ahead with this initial procedure and give it some time, this is what we are doing before she decides on returning to Johns Hopkins. They took the idea that a Corneal Transplant, as suggested by the Surgeon in Wilmington as a possible next step, off the table. So, in this waiting period, I ask that you keep Peggy in your prayers as we pray that her eye and vision improve.
Thank you from all those for whom I have asked for your prayers. Please keep the volume up. Thank you. God Bless.
Colon, Philip J. (MC1962)
