PRAYERSREQUESTED: Colon, Philip J. (MC1962) prays for FJohn

2019-Oct-20

Good Evening All,

Your prayers are requested for a friend to many of us and Creator of Jasper Jottings. Thursday, October 10,2019, John went into Hospital for Heart Valve Repair. The Doctors have told John it is some routine work but when it is your heart that is being worked upon, you do not feel it is routine. We pray that all went well and that John is back home soon keeping an eye on Jasper Jottings. We pray that all was free of any complication. I will update you as soon as I hear from John. Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery. Thank you. God Bless.

[JR: Thanks, Phi.  It took more out of me than I anticipated.  I was “minor”. “Pig ’n’ chicken!” “In the matter of making of ham and eggs, the chicken is merely involved while the pig is completely committed.” Used to use this a lot with Ev’s doctors in a funny but deadly serious way.  Some very talented and dedicated folks made it possible for me to keep on going. PRAYERSREQUESTED: Colon, Philip J. (MC1962) prays for Diane

2019-Oct-02

Good Morning All,

Mike McEneney has shared an update with us. At Mass on Sunday, Mike spoke with Ken Parr ’61. Diane has been in our prayers and we need to raise the volume once again for this good woman and Faithful Servant. Diane is home now and under Hospice care. It was not too long ago that she and Ken were at Mass together and Diane was so pleased to be able to attend Mass although she was weak, her spirit was high. Please keep up your prayers for Diane, Ken and their Family as they share this part of their journey. With love and kindness, we pray that Diane rests peacefully. Thank you Mike. Thank you all. God Bless.

We pray for Diane’s fast recovery free of complication. We pray for Ken and their Family.

Three more sessions after that, one every three weeks then new PT and CT Scans. The Mds may do Laproscopic Surgery to see if Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC Procedute would be possible. Good Afternoon All,

Mike McEneney asks for our prayers for He and Ed’s Cousin, Tom Manning. Tom will be undergoing surgery in early October to remove a malignant growth from his Small Intestine and lower Stomach. We pray that as Tom and the Doctors prepare for Tom’s surgery, that they are confident upon their focus in having localized the malignancy and that they are able to totally remove it free of complication and have Tom back on his feet quickly. Tom attended Manhattan for One Semester in 1955 before entering the United States Naval Academy. Tom is the Son of Mike & Ed’s Uncle, the Late Dr. Thomas P. Manning ’31.
