PRAYERSREQUESTED: Colon, Philip J. (MC1962) prays for Stephen

2017-Apr-28

Good Morning All,

It is with a heavy heart that I ask for your prayers For Delaware State Trooper, Cpl. 1, Stephen Ballard. Cpl Ballard was shot and killed in broad daylight this past Wednesday at a WAWA food Mart in Bear, Delaware when, while on duty, he approached two men in the WAWA parking lot. Cpl. Ballard approached them in the vehicle they were in because of suspicious behavior.

I did not know Trooper Ballard but my Neighbor and Fellow State Trooper knew Cpl. Ballard and his Family well. He speaks with great respect, admiration and feeling for his friend, married, a Father with one child, a truly good man who was known by his beautiful smile, his respect toward everyone, his love of his job and pride in serving. The entire Police Force share the pain with Trooper Ballard’s Family, their loss and the senseless murder of their loved one.

Please raise the volume for Cpl. Ballard, his Family and friends during this horrible time. The world is a darker place becauseof this man’s death. Thank you. God Bless.

PRAYERSREQUESTED: Colon, Philip J. (MC1962) prays for Woodrow

2017-Mar-29

Good Afternoon All,

I ask for your prayers for a High School class mate and very good friend of a friend of mine. Woodrow Dooley is in intensive care where the MDs are dealing with several medical issues as they try to ascertain why Woody’s heart just stopped when he was apparently so healthy. The EMT professionals while responding to the Medical Emergency, on the phone, walked Woody’s wife through CPR which she administered and brought her husband back from death. We pray for Woody, his Wife and friends. We pray that the MDs are able to discover and resolve what caused the initial trauma and get Woody’s several medical concerns under control. Thank you. God Bless.
